Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Slide Creator ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Slide Creator is a web-based AI presentation platform that generates native, editable PowerPoint (PPTX) files from text, document, and data inputs. The Service is provided "as is" with the features and limitations described in the current plan documentation at slidecreator.com/index.html#pricing.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be 16 years or older (18 in some jurisdictions) to use the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or have been inactive for more than 24 months following written notice.

4. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You own your content. All text, data, documents, brand assets, and generated presentations remain your intellectual property. Slide Creator claims no ownership over content you create using the Service.

License to provide the Service: By uploading content, you grant Slide Creator a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your requested presentation output. This license does not extend to training AI models, sharing with third parties, or any other use.

AI training exclusion: Your content is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
• Use automated scripts to generate excessive volume beyond your plan's limits
• Generate content that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction

6. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

Free Plan: Includes 3 unwatermarked presentations per month. No credit card required. Generation speed and feature access may be limited.

Paid Plans: Billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Annual plans are charged upfront for the full year at a reduced rate.

Refunds: Paid plans include a 14-day refund window from the date of charge. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable except where required by law (e.g., EU consumer rights).

Cancellation: Cancel anytime via Settings → Billing. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Annual plan cancellations do not receive pro-rata refunds after the 14-day window.

Price changes: We provide 30 days' notice of price increases via email before they apply to existing subscriptions.

7. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers with separate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) are subject to the terms of those agreements where they conflict with these Terms. Custom SLAs, DPAs, and volume pricing are available. Contact sales@slidecreator.com.

8. Availability & SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for Paid and Enterprise plans. Planned maintenance is scheduled during low-traffic windows with advance notice via our Changelog. Service credits for SLA failures are available on Enterprise plans per the applicable MSA.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIDE CREATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SLIDE CREATOR IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SLIDE CREATOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for material violations of these Terms with reasonable notice, or immediately for fraud, illegal activity, or security threats. Upon termination, we will delete your data per the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We will notify users of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days in advance via email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Significant changes are documented in our Changelog.
