We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. We never use your presentation content to train AI. You can delete your data at any time. We comply with GDPR and CCPA.

1. Who We Are

Slide Creator ("Slide Creator," "we," "us," or "our") is an enterprise AI presentation platform that generates native, 100% editable PowerPoint (PPTX) files. 2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and billing information (processed by our payment processor — we never store raw card numbers).

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the platform — features accessed, presentations generated, export formats used — to improve the product and provide customer support.

Content You Provide: Documents, text, data, and brand assets you upload to generate presentations. This content is processed to generate your slides and is not stored beyond the session or used for any other purpose.

Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, page views, and session duration. Used for security monitoring and analytics.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies (opt-out available in Settings). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Slide Creator service
  • To process your presentations and generate PPTX output
  • To enforce your brand kit settings across generated slides
  • To communicate account-related information (receipts, security alerts)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not: sell personal data, share it with advertising networks, or use your presentation content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark AI models.

4. AI Training Policy

Slide Creator does not use customer content — including presentation text, uploaded PDFs, Word documents, CSV data, CRM records, or brand assets — to train, fine-tune, improve, or benchmark any AI model. Customer data is processed exclusively to generate the requested presentation output. This policy applies to all plan tiers, including free accounts.

5. Data Sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure (AWS), payment processing (Stripe), transactional email (SendGrid). All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with advance notice to users.

We never sell personal data to third parties.

6. Your Rights

GDPR (EU/UK users): Right to access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), data portability, restriction of processing, and objection. To exercise these rights: privacy@slidecreator.com. Response within 30 days.

CCPA (California residents): Right to know what personal information is collected, right to delete, right to opt-out of sales (we do not sell data), right to non-discrimination.

All users: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible and processed within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account, plus 30 days after deletion request
  • Generated PPTX files: Stored in your account for 90 days, then automatically deleted
  • Input content (documents, text): Not retained after processing
  • Audit logs: Retained 12 months for security purposes

8. Security

We protect your data with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We maintain SOC2 Type II certification. Access to customer data by Slide Creator employees is logged, audited, and restricted on a need-to-know basis. See our Security page for full technical details.

9. International Transfers

Slide Creator's infrastructure is hosted on AWS (us-east-1 by default; eu-central-1 available for EU Enterprise customers). For international data transfers from the EU/EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are available upon request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email and an in-app banner at least 14 days before changes take effect. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page. See our Changelog for a history of policy updates.
